About the service
Doctor Armenia (doctorarmenia.com, hereinafter “we”) is an online directory of doctors, clinics, medical centres, hospitals and pharmacies in Armenia. Visitors search for free and contact providers directly. We do not provide medical services or medical advice, we do not book appointments and we take no commission. Nothing on the site is medical advice; for any health question, speak to a qualified professional.
Emergencies
In an emergency, do not rely on this site. Call 112 or 911.
Using the site
Searching is free. When you use the site, please do not:
- post false or misleading information
- copy or collect directory data in bulk, including with automated tools
- send spam to providers
- disrupt the site or try to access other people's accounts
- use the site for anything unlawful
Listings and provider responsibility
Providers create and manage their own listings. They are responsible for making sure their information is accurate and up to date, and for holding the valid licences and permits their work requires in Armenia.
A listing on the site is not a recommendation. We do not guarantee any provider or the quality of their services; the choice is always yours. The “Licence verified” badge means that we checked the provider’s documents before publishing the page. It is not a rating, a recommendation or an assessment of medical quality.
Subscription and payment
A listing is a paid monthly subscription. The first month is free; after that a fixed monthly fee applies, according to the current price list. If a payment is not received, the listing is suspended until it is paid. If a subscription is stopped, the listing is no longer shown.
Advertising
Providers can buy advertising for extra visibility: sponsored placement in search results, the homepage banner and announcements. Publishing articles, posts and photos is free and is not advertising. Paid items are clearly labelled (for example, “Sponsored”). The provider who publishes an offer is responsible for its terms.
No prices for medical services
Doctor Armenia does not publish prices for consultations, treatments or procedures, and providers may not add them to their pages, posts or announcements. Fees and appointments are agreed directly between the patient and the provider: we only connect them and take no commission. The only prices on the site are our own subscription and advertising fees for providers.
Document check
We check providers by documents only. Clinics, hospitals, medical centres and pharmacies give us their activity licence number, and we check it in Armenia’s official public Unified Electronic Register of Licences (e-license.am). Individual doctors upload an identity document, their medical diploma and their specialty certificate (and their personal licence, if they have one); government documents with a QR code are checked on verify.e-gov.am.
When applying, the provider confirms that all information and documents are true and valid, and that they alone are responsible for their content and for their medical services. The provider is liable for any false, forged or outdated information or documents.
We keep copies of the submitted documents, the date of the check and who carried it out (see the Privacy policy). We may ask for documents again when one expires or details change, and we may suspend or remove a listing whose documents are false, expired or missing.
Articles, posts and photos
Providers can publish articles in the magazine and posts and photos on their page free of charge, with no limit on how many. Magazine articles and provider posts are general information, not medical advice. Providers are responsible for what they post. Posts must not contain prices, promises of results or advertising of medicines, and we may review, edit or remove them before or after publication.
Provider accounts
Providers manage their page through a personal account with an email address and a password. Keep your password private and tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account.
Removing listings
We may hide or remove listings or ads that break these terms, contain clearly wrong information, or that a competent authority asks us to remove.
Liability
The site is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, Doctor Armenia is not liable for the services of providers, for decisions made on the basis of information on the site, or for interruptions to the site.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version is always on this page, and by continuing to use the site you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia.
